So I tried to download the latest OpenATV 6.0 firmware from the Internet - the current version. so, when you guys want to try a FTP browser, please use the IPv4 direct address, not DNS device name. when you use the DNS resolved hostname (OpenATV 6.0 and router give IPv6 address) then all woks fine. So I will resetting router to factory settings. The main system is OpenATV.Īlso, the problem could be purely theoretically on the DNS server on my router (Tomato Shibby firmware based on DD-WRT). Previously, I've always used OpenATV 6.0 + OpenPLi 4.0 for labor with potential problems (especially for testing functionality). Unfortunately I'm currently using only OpenATV 6.0, without the MultiBoot plug-in.

The FTP server froze and stopped working until it itself unblocked after about 10 minutes of waiting. The application copied a few userbouquets files (about 6 - 7 files) from FTP to a local HDD on my computer, and then the copy process was stuck.

I discovered this error when trying to update my new picons from a computer running Windows 7. After restarting the box, nothing happened, so it did not help. So I tried to disable IPv6 support (in the file: "/etc/avahi/nf" the entry "use-ipv6=no"). Regarding " avahi" services, I've read that IPv6 enabled support is also causing the problem. But why did he start pinging IPv6 instead of IPv4 ? However, if I try to ping the IP address of my satellite box (IPv4: ), there is no response. Pinging of the DNS name returns only IPv6 address and the ping command test runs smoothly. When I try to ping my satellite box from the Windows command prompt, it only pings the DNS name, but not the IP address directly. So the problem is probably not in the FTP daemon, but in the IPv4 network interface in OpenATV 6.0. If I use the formuler3 name, the connection to the FTP server of the satellite box always works. I verified it through Total Commander FTP connection when I changed the host entry instead of the IPv4 address of my satellite box by entering its DNS name - formuler3. After some time (10-15 min.), IPv4 will start automatically. Libavahi-core7 - this point, the IPv4 network layer stops functioning on the system and only IPv6 works. Can it be removed? Will the system work properly if I uninstall " avahi" through package manager (" opkg")? Maybe the " avahi" service - this could pose a problem. I also attach the DebugLOG file, but I do not see anything suspicious in it. However, I can not connect via Telnet or SSH (Putty) to check the system. Likewise, MENU works through the satellite box remote control at the time of a frozen FTP server.
